Background: The inactivity of the elderly in participating in posyandu activities can be influenced by two factors, namely intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors. Posyandu has a health service program and care for the elderly through several aspects, namely promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the inactivity of the elderly in following the posyandu in Ngabab village.
