Price elasticity is the level of sensitivity (change) of a symptom that affects changes in the price of an object. The objectives of this study include: 1) To analyze the factors that influence changes in the price of rice at the merchant level in Indonesia from 2013 to 2019, 2) To see the development of rice prices at the merchant level in Indonesia until 2024, and 3) to analyze the level of elasticity of rice prices prices at the merchant level in Indonesia. Indonesia from 2013 to 2019. The independent variables used in the study were the amount of rice production, the amount of rice demand, the domestic price of rice, the price of imported rice, the price of other staple foodstuffs. The dependent variable used in this research is the development of rice prices. The type of data used is secondary data that is time series (time series) during the period 2013 to 2019. The method of determining the research location uses the purposive method. All data required in the study were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The analytical methods used in this study include: multiple linear regression analysis, trend analysis, and elasticity analysis. The results of this study include: 1) The factors that influence price developments include: rice production, imported rice prices and maize prices as a substitute for staples, 2) The development of rice prices at merchant level in Indonesia from 2020 to 2024 has increase to: Rp.13.366, Rp.13.967, Rp.14.568, Rp.15.169, Rp.15.770, 3) The elasticity of rice prices prices at the traders' level in Indonesia is said to be elastic, because the percentage is> 1
