PENGARUH FORMULA DAN LAMA ALIRAN NUTRISI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SELADA MERAH (Lactuca sativa var. Crispa) PADA SISTEM NFT (SMART HIDROPONIK FARMING)

Hydroponic cultivation technique is an effort to obtain quality, healthy, pesticide-free, uniform and sustainable agricultural products. The constraint in hydroponic cultivation is the limited availability of nutrients, often the nutrients cannot be absorbed properly because the nutrient composition is not right for plant growth and the flow of nutrients that flows unevenly so that it inhibits plant growth. From the above problems, the researcher needs to study the composition and control of the flow time of nutrients which are good for the growth of red cress (Lactuca sativa var. Crispa) so that plant productivity increases. The purpose of this study was to determine the formula and duration of nutrient flow on the growth of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. Crispa) in the NFT system (Smart Hydroponic Farming). The research was conducted at the Green House, Integrated Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Muhamadiyah University Malang. Experimental design using RAK arranged in factorial nested. The treatment was repeated 2 times. The variables measured included plant height, number of leaves, wet weight, dry weight, root weight, root dry weight, root length, stem diameter and chlorophyll. The suitable treatment combination for the growth of red lettuce plants is the Cooper nutritional formula with a flow time of 15 minutes to 15 minutes of death and the nutritional formula of BPTP with a flow time of 15 minutes to 15 minutes of death. The treatment of nutritional formulas that are suitable for the growth of red lettuce plants is the nutritional formula of Cooper, Steiner and BPTP while the treatment of flow time that is good for the growth of red lettuce plants is the flow time of 15 minutes and 15 minutes of death
