PENGARUH KONSENTRASI NUTRISI DAN LAMA ALIRAN AIR PADA TANAMAN SELADA MERAH (Lactuca sativa var. crispa) MENGGUNAKAN HIDROPONIK NFT BERBASIS MIKROKONTROL

Cultivation of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. Crispa) often uses a hydroponic system using the Nuntrient Film Technique (NFT) method. Nuntrient Film Technique (NFT) is a hydroponic cultivation system. This system uses water media that contains nutrients, and the water flows thin on an average of 0.5 mm - 3 mm, thin like a film. The nutrients needed in lettuce plants are foliar fertilizers, leaf fertilizer itself is an element that is given through the leaves by spraying or watering the leaves so that they can be absorbed directly so that they can meet the nutrient needs in plant growth and development. Growmore is a complete foliar fertilizer that has a blue crystalline form, and is easily dissolved in water. This study aims to determine which foliar fertilizers are good for plants and to monitor good water flow for hydroponic vegetables. This research was conducted at the Integrated Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang which will be held in June - November 2020. The cultivation of red lettuce was carried out using the medium of Rokwoll seedling at the Green House which is located in the UMM Integrated Laboratory. The red lettuce seeds used are Asian star brands found in agricultural shops in Malang. The observation variables in this study consisted of plant height, leaf number, wet weight, dry weight, root length, stem diameter. The design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (Factorial RBD). This design consists of 2 factors, the first factor is the nutritional composition (K) consisting of 5 levels and the second factor is the length of water flow every 30 minutes of flowing 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes (W) consisting of 3 levels. The results showed that the treatment of nutrient composition and flow time had a significant effect on root length and stem diameter. It was shown that the best treatment was the control with flow time of 5 minutes (Control W1). The treatment of nutritional composition had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, wet weight, dry weight. It was shown that the best treatment was the control. Water flow treatment did not significantly affect all parameters
