As the title suggests, this piece takes things slowly, using fades to move between locations at Wreck Beach. We begin on waves stirring kelp, moving to a tidal pool, then to the rustling of long grass in the beach's brackish soil.Created for MDIA300/VAST320 - Sound, Media, Ecology under professor Julie Andreyev. The intention was to expand student's awareness of non-human actors and explore methods of interspecies creativity through indeterminacy combined with passive video recording techniques.
