Das Verhältnis zwischen Forschen und Praxis unter dem Begriff der Partizipation steht im Fokus dieses Artikels. Der Autor versucht unter gemeindepsychologischer Perspektive »Ungereimtheiten« in der partizipativen Praxis von Organisationen und der Rolle von Forschung zu analysieren. Er spricht sich dafür aus Empowerment und Partizipation zusammen zu denken und zu handhaben.
