Temaet for denne masteravhandlingen er bruk av dataspill i undervisning i oldtidens og antikkens historie på videregående skole. Denne masteravhandlingen er et bidrag til diskusjonen om bruk av dataspill i historieundervisning, sammenlignet med andre læremidler. Hvordan fungerer dataspill som læremiddel, sammenlignet med lærebøker? Hvilke muligheter kan dataspill åpne opp for, som andre læremidler ikke kan? For å svare på disse spørsmålene har jeg intervjuet tre lærere som underviser i historie på videregående skoler i Hordaland fylke. De bruker alle dataspill i undervisningen.
