Modern work contexts are becoming increasingly dynamic and labor-intensive. This can affect employees’ work engagement and exhaustion. The central aim of this quantitative diary study is to investigate the role of daily recovery experiences in the relationship between daily work pressure, exhaustion and work engagement.
