Internal displacement of people is becoming an important issue all over the world calling for international attention. Africa is also among the countries that have the same problem.Sudan, Burundi and Uganda are among the countries that are immersed with this problem. The overall objective of the study was to attain an understanding of the experiences of the FCRs in their transition from dependent life in the camp to independent life in their communities, and to gain knowledge about the resources they dwell on to thrive.
