This article shares the results of a research project entitled "Diagnostic Study of Teacher Training and Development at the University of Santo Tomas Bucaramanga", which was developed in order to establish the impact that teacher training programs conducted at the institution have had in the teaching exercise, the appropriation of curriculum management tools, educational and pedagogical research, publications and production of educational materials among others, actions that reflect the skills taught at the institution.
