Training preschool and kindergarten professionals is important in improving the overall quality care in early childhood. Developing an on-site mentor positive interaction program can enhance teacher-child interactions, which allows early childhood professionals to learn how to incorporate numerous language stimulation techniques and child-initiative approaches in the classroom. This capstone examines the need to develop an on-site mentor positive interaction program that will provide early childhood professionals with more opportunities to increase their overall interactions in the classroom. This project is a handbook that demonstrates how to incorporate a mentor/mentee program in the preschool and kindergarten programs
