This article aims to analyze analyze the protocols of nine years children from the first and second years of elementary school of a private school in the city of São Paulo, involving the resolution of problems of the Conceptual Field of Multiplicative Structures. It is part of the doctoral research in Mathematics Teaching, in which the research student, CAPES scholarship holder, from Cruzeiro do Sul University, participates in the research group, Knowledge, Beliefs and Practices of Teachers Teaching Mathematics (CCPPM), Postgraduate Program in Science Teaching.
