International audienceA vast monument dating from Roman and Byzantine times (2nd-6th centuries AD), the central thermal baths have never before been examined, despite their excellent state of preservation. Two of their architectural aspects are explored here: first, the circulation of bathers within the building, radically modified on a number of occasions, was characterised by its complexity.Ultimately, the monument presented 5th century bathers with a double, symmetrical, looped course, with specific variations for athletic users.
