Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Flipped classroom terhadap Pemahaman Membaca Siswa pada Teks Narasi Semester II Kelas VIII SMPN 1 Marga Sekampung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen design dengan perlakuan dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali pertemuan, 2x40 menit dalam setiap pertemuan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah dua kelas, yaitu kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Peneliti menggunakan model Flipped classroom di kelas eksperimen dan Traditional Classroom oleh guru bahasa Inggris di kelas kontrol.
