The aim of this study was to comparatively evaluate the radiopacity of the repair cements MTA Angelus® Branco, Biodentine® and BIO-C® Repair. For radiopacity analysis, five specimens with 4 mm in diameter and 2 mm in height were made in elastomer matrices for each cement studied. Each specimen was radiographed by the digital method together with a 2 mm thick central slice of a healthy human lower molar tooth and an aluminum density scale, the thickness of which varied from 2 to 16 mm, in 2 mm increments. The exposure time, as well as the focus-film distance once determined, were kept constant for all exposures.
