Organizational commitment is a psychological bond that an employee has with the company they work for, with a sense of work involvement, loyalty, and belief in the company's organizational values. In general, there are three components of commitment, namely: affective commitment, ongoing commitment, and normative commitment. Employees who have a normative and sustainable commitment do not guarantee that someone will stay in organization because they do not have affective commitment. Emotional intelligence is a person's ability to recognize emotions or feelings that exist in them or others. This ability helps motivate them and can also manage it in building social relationships.
