During the last few years consumer behavior has significantly changed. Implementation of self- service technologies (SSLs) has influenced interactions between consumer and retailer. Thanks to current situation, where social contacts are being restricted, the use of SSLs is growing. Due to this trend, there is a greater need to evaluate the impact of those technology on consumer behavior. Objective of this article is to review available research on consumer satisfaction at Self-service checkout and to asses situation at the Czech retail market.
