Tato bakalářská práce na téma Význam magnetické rezonance v diagnostice patologií orbity se zaměřením na orbitální expanze se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část zahrnuje podrobnější anatomii orbity, patologické procesy se zaměřením na orbitální expanze a diagnostiku těchto orbitálních expanzí všemi zobrazovacími metodami, které jsou v dnešní době v této problematice využívány. V závěru teoretické části, věnované podrobněji magnetické rezonanci, je uveden vyšetřovací protokol, užívaný při MR zobrazení orbit a nejčastěji používané sekvence, které se v diagnostice patologických procesů orbity užívají.
