Event-based control is an alternative to classical discrete control system. Event-based controller only calculates new control signal when system's error reach specific threshold. This is contrary with conventional time-triggered controller where control signal is updated with fixed sampling time. This method manages to reduce the computation iteration but at the cost of extra computation in control algorithm. A good event-based controller must be able to reduce the computation iteration and has a low control algorithm computation. This paper proposed new improvement to the simple event-based PI controller. This improved algorithm gives good performance without the need of complex control algorithm, and low in computation. Extensive simulat...
