Making use of literary works in classroom is challenging especially in English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom. The lecturers and students need to deal with these challenges wisely. This paper tries to map out the constraints in using literary works in EFL classroom. Fifty-two students of English Education Department of Ahmad Dahlan University serve as respondents of this research. The students filled the questionnaire given and interviews were conducted to complete the data.
