International audienceCave-den research focuses on the different parts of cave Hyaena behaviour. These studies are very important for Palaeolithic archaeology, because many cave sites show some evidence, now mixed, of human and carnivore occupation. In this paper, the authors state the present knowledge about the palaeontology and archaeozoology of hyaena den fauna.
