One of the most fantastic, most amusing, and yet most tragic misinterpretations of the Word of God which has ever been imposed upon the minds of Christian people is that of Anglo-Israelism, or British-Israelism. It is called by other names as well, such as Celto-Saxons, Destiny of America, Anglo-Saxon Federation of America, Kingdom Message, etc. but is best known in the United States as Anglo-Israelism.
