Cadenas de valor y tendencias en innovación en actividades turísticas

This manuscript seeks to analyze the operation and importance of productive chains in the tourism industry, the technological challenges and the construction of tourist networks that aim to boost tourism activity, through the ordering of the business activities. For this, is used research methodology descriptive analysis, based on positions of different authors, intending to collect elements that allow identifying these elements as conditions in the design of competitiveness strategies in the sector. As a result, one way to deal with the competition, is to design and make use of instruments such as cluster and value chains, which point out through their structure, the relevant and efficient processes for the production of a good or the provision of a service. These agglomerates or clusters aimed at generating more competitiveness, lower production costs, superior quality, variety of inputs and constant learning, among other elements, which continuously contribute to their innovation. Here the main thing is to maintain a coordination within the agglomerate to ensure a good organization and distribution of functions. The technological challenge presented by the service providers, the structuring of prices, the directed marketing linked to the development of value chains around the tourist attractions takes relevance in the structuring of the tourist activity. This implies, having answers for the user in the decisions based on the choice of the type of tourism, the choice of the tourist destination, the form of displacement, taking into account variables such as price, schedules, security, accommodation, and the form and ease in the purchase of tourist attractions, among other, being these variables those that the industry should have consider to achieve a successful positioning in the market.El manuscrito busca analizar el funcionamiento y la importancia de las cadenas productivas en la industria turística, los desafíos tecnológicos y la construcción de redes turísticas, que tienen como objetivo dinamizar la actividad turística, a través del ordenamiento de las actividades propias del negocio. Para esto, se utiliza la metodología de investigación de tipo descriptivo, basada en posturas de diferentes autores, recopilando información que permita identificar elementos como condicionantes en el diseño de estrategias de competitividad en el sector. Como resultado, una manera de hacer frente a la competencia, es diseñar y hacer uso de instrumentos como cluster y cadenas de valor, que señalan a través de su estructura, los procesos pertinentes y eficientes para la producción de un bien o la prestación de un servicio. Las cadenas de valor tienen como fin, generar más competitividad, menores costos de producción, calidad superior, variedad de insumos y un aprendizaje constante, entre otros elementos, que contribuyen continuamente a su innovación, donde lo principal es mantener una coordinación al interior de la cadena, que permita asegurar una buena organización y distribución de las funciones. El desafío tecnológico, que presentan los prestadores de servicios, la fijación de precios, el marketing dirigido vinculado con el desarrollo de cadenas de valor alrededor de los atractivos turísticos, toma relevancia en la organización de las actividades turísticas. Esto implica, tener respuestas para el usuario en las decisiones basadas en la escogencia del tipo de turismo, la escogencia del destino turístico, la forma de desplazamiento, teniendo en cuenta variables como el precio, horarios, seguridad, alojamiento, y la forma y facilidad en la compra de los atractivos turísticos, entre otras, siendo estas variables las que la industria debe tener en cuenta para lograr un posicionamiento exitoso en el mercado
