Objective To evaluate and compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes of proximal fibular osteotomy (PFO) in treating medial knee osteoarthritis (KOA) patients with upper fibular curvature and non‐curvature. Methods A retrospective cohort study was performed. From January 2016 to January 2017, a total of 51 patients (nine males and 42 females) at a mean age of 63.7 years (range 48–79 years) with medial KOA who underwent PFO procedure at the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University were included in the study.
