Una reforma política para fortalecer la democracia

This paper presents some reflections about the current political crisis by which Colombian voters are going through. This is an effect of the socalled Parapolitics which opens a new chapter of the political action inColombia. It also examines the impact of parapolitics taking into account the number of affected congress seats within each political party and the agreements for saving the political amendment bill advancing in the Colombian congress.Similarly, it examines the proposal of the announcement of a Constituent Assembly suggested by the Alternative Democratic Pole (PDA) and the answers of the political leadership of the parties and movements as well as the initiative of the presidential re-election. Finally, a follow up to the political amendment bill which has really influenced the political Constitution of 1991 is shown.Las reflexiones consignadas en este artículo están inscritas en la actual coyuntura política por la que atravesamos los colombianos como efecto de la llamada parapolítica que inaugura un nuevo capitulo de la acción política en Colombia; revisa el impacto de la parapolítica en número de curules afectadas por partido y los acuerdos para salvar el proyecto de reforma política que cursa en el Congreso de la República.De la misma manera, revisa la propuesta de la convocatoria a una Asamblea Constituyente propuesta por el Polo Democrático Alternativo y las respuestas de la dirigencia política de los partidos y movimientos y la iniciativa de la reelección presidencial y finalmente, le hace un seguimiento a las reformas políticas que han impactado la Constitución política de 199
