This article presents a general tour of the origins of social imbalances, as a starting point of development, addressing concepts and theories about it. Inevitably we define related concepts such as underdevelopment, eco-development or bad development. However, talking about education is speak of development and welfare, so we address key aspects of the welfare state and the concept of inequality.
