This article is the result of an investigation which interests included a purpose to strengthen middle school students’ ability for self-regulation while writing digital texts in learning environments supported by tools from Web 2.0. The approach for the study was mixed, involving 32 students, who produced digital texts through 11 sessions. The instruments used were observation, interviews and self-registration.
