Aproximaciones bibliográficas para el estudio sobre varones inmigrantes: problematizando condiciones para la corresponsabilidad en Latinoamérica y Chile

Understanding the migratory process as an experience of changes and tensions, this article attempts to present different bibliographic paths that may contribute to a research agenda from a gender relational perspective. Our approach considers the male experience in the field of migration. Background information is provided at the macro-social levels and subjectivities, presenting the case of Chile in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean. Exploratory findings are presented on men and care in migratory processes as a phenomenon of global interest. The article concludes showing the urgency of knowing the mechanisms with which the destabilization of power, sexist violence, and perceptions about the rights of women, children, and girls emerges in the context of the migratory processComprendiendo el proceso migratorio como una experiencia de cambios y tensiones por excelencia, es objetivo de este artículo presentar diferentes caminos bibliográficos para argumentar la necesidad de investigaciones en perspectiva relacional del género. Nuestra propuesta considera la importancia de los varones en el campo de las migraciones. Se aportan antecedentes en un nivel macro social y subjetividades que abordan particularmente el caso de Chile en el contexto de América Latina y el Caribe y se presentan incipientes hallazgos sobre varones y cuidados en los procesos migratorios como fenómeno de interés global. Se concluye sobre la urgencia de conocer los mecanismos con los cuales se gesta la desestabilización del poder, las violencias sexistas y las percepciones acerca de los derechos de mujeres, niñas y niños durante el proceso migratorio
