Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) adalah sebuah material yang banyak digunakan pada industri aerospace, industri otomotif sebagai penguat seperti rivet, sehingga akan melalui proses drilling. Dalam proses drilling akan terjadi thrust force dan torsi yang dapat mempengaruhi akurasi ukuran dan kualitas permukaan lubang yang terbentuk. Agar dapat memperoleh akurasi ukuran dan kualitas permukaan lubang yang baik, perlu dilakukan upaya untuk menentukan nilai parameter (thrust force, torsi, kebulatan, dan kekasaran permukaan) yang minimum.
