Dalam sistem tenaga listrik osilasi frekuensi dapat menyebabkan generator lepas sinkron. Peredaman osilasi frekuensi harus dapat diredam dengan baik agar kemungkinan terjadinya lepas sinkron pada generator dapat dicegah. Konsep pengaturan frekuensi pada sistem tenaga disebut Load Frequency Control (LFC). Konsep LFC adalah mengatur governor agar dapat menyeimbangkan kecepatan turbin dengan perubahan beban yang ada. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas mengenai analisa respon deviasi frekuensi dan daya sistem akibat adanya gangguan berupa perubahan daya beban.
