Penalaan Kontroler PID dan Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) untuk Load Frequency Control (LFC) Menggunakan Bat Algorithm (BA)

Dalam sistem tenaga listrik osilasi frekuensi dapat menyebabkan generator lepas sinkron. Peredaman osilasi frekuensi harus dapat diredam dengan baik agar kemungkinan terjadinya lepas sinkron pada generator dapat dicegah. Konsep pengaturan frekuensi pada sistem tenaga disebut Load Frequency Control (LFC). Konsep LFC adalah mengatur governor agar dapat menyeimbangkan kecepatan turbin dengan perubahan beban yang ada. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas mengenai analisa respon deviasi frekuensi dan daya sistem akibat adanya gangguan berupa perubahan daya beban. Kontroler PID dapat digunakan sebagai kontroler tambahan dalam pengaturan governor agar performansi sistem dapat meningkat. Performansi frekuensi pada sistem tenaga dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan peralatan penyimpan energi listrik Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Parameter pada PID dan BESS dioptimisasi dengan Bat Algorithm (BA) untuk mendapat koordinasi yang baik dari keduanya. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa respon deviasi frekuensi dari sistem dengan tambahan koordinasi kontroler PID dan BESS memiliki nilai overshoot yang lebih kecil dan settling time yang lebih cepat dari pada sistem yang tidak menggunakan penambahan apapun, maupun terhadap sistem dengan kontroler PID dan BESS yang bekerja sendiri-sendiri. Lalu penalaan menggunakan BA pada parameter kontroler PID dan BESS menghasilkan hasil yang lebih baik daripada penalaan parameter dengan tidak menggunakan BA. =============================================================================================== In a power system the frequency oscillation can cause the generator to lose sync. Reduction of frequency oscillation must be well muted so that the possibility of lose sync in the generator can be prevented. The concept of frequency control in a power system is called Load Frequency Control (LFC). The LFC concept is to set the governor to be able to balance the speed of the turbine with changes in the existing load. In this final project, we will discuss the analysis of the frequency deviation response and system power due to a disturbance in the form of load power changes. The PID controller can be used as an additional controller in the governor's settings so that system performance can increase. Frequency performance on the power system can be increased by using the electric energy storage device Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The parameters in PID and BESS are optimized with Bat Algorithm (BA) to get good coordination from both. The simulation results show that the frequency deviation response from the system in addition to the coordination of the PID controller and BESS has a smaller overshoot value and faster settling time than the system that does not use any additions, nor to systems with PID controllers and BESS that work individually. Then tuning using BA to PID and BESS controller parameters produces better results than tuning parameters by not using BA
