International audienceStudents‘ actions within a CSCL environment are recorded and stored as interaction data. The availability of such data offers new opportunities for support: the data can be accessed and analyzed automatically. Teachers, students and researchers may benefit from such an analysis. They have access to information about students‘ performance in the CSCL environment. The support gives teachers and students immediate feedback about performance indicators and it can help researchers to identify meaningful patterns in the interaction data.
