Group counseling seeks to improve people’s understanding of communication and interpersonal relations, while simultaneously developing self-awareness. Self-development means learning and discovering that leads to growth, development and inner change. In addition, the experience of self-acceptance and acceptance from others is essential for individual development. Therefore, it can be said that group counseling, communication, interpersonal relations, self-awareness and the importance of acceptance are all relevant themes in this study.
