The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit currently affects changing the learning system from offline to online learning. Several current research results reported that changes in the learning system affect the demotivation of students to learn. However, the demotivation phenomenon does not affect elderly Indonesian men. Therefore, this study explores the motivational factors of these older men in participating in an online Arabic learning program organized by one of the informal institutions in Indonesia.
