Dental issues are impacting many horses. Under different types, they can provoke lesions in the oral cavity that will be translated into clinical signs on the horse. Those symptoms will make the owners contact veterinarians. Another frequent cause of calling veterinarians is the colic: potentially severe abdominal pain. The related symptoms are well known and feared by the owners. Different types of colic have been studied in order to search for the causes and risk factors.
