Add to ORKGThe first step in problem solving is to first recognise that there is a problem, and to remember that problems look different from varying points of view. What may be a massive problem to one farmer may be of little consequence to another. For example, a 70 acre salt scald that is stable and not increasing, may be of little importance on a 10,000 acre property, but that same scald is a considerable percentage of the land on a 700 acre farm. Once you have recognised that there is a problem, you then have to decide if you are going to do anything about it.
