Power quality improvement of power electronics systems in many applications such as adjustable speed drive (ASD) is vital due to the high penetration of grid-connected converters in distribution networks. Conventional diode bridge rectifiers are widely utilized in three-phase systems due to their cost-effectiveness, simplicity, and reliability.
