The purpose of this report is to provide a comprehensive and accessible description and analysis of the processes of internationalisation in the Australian audiovisual industry through the 1990s. The project was conceived and designed to assist researchers and policymakers negotiate rather than simply combat the global environment. The paper does not propose specific policy recommendations.
