The present study was aimed to formulate and evaluate floating tablets of Cimetidine which is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist in increasing usage in the medical management of peptic ulcer. In this study, excipients like HPMC K4M ,HPMC K100M were used as polymers and sodium bi- carbonate were incorporated in 9 different concentrations (F1-F9) along with other excipients.to formulate floating tablets.
