ABSTRACT In general, typical snacks from Indonesia are classified as traditional snacks. When compared to modern snacks, traditional snacks are far superior in terms of benefits, nutrition and ingredients used. Judging from the manufacturing process, traditional snacks use complex ingredients with traditional manufacturing processes. As for modern snacks, the use of basic ingredients is minimal and uses a lot of flavorings and preservatives.
