2021 Celebration of Student Research and Creativity presentation"Prescription drug abuse is an epidemic that persists across all populations. It is the use of medication without a prescription from a healthcare provider, for nonmedical purposes, or in excess of what is prescribed. This exploratory cross-sectional study aims to examine the prevalence of prescription drug abuse on college campuses and the reasons for the abuse. Data will be collected through a self-administered survey and is expected to demonstrate a high prevalence of abuse due to environmental, social, and intrapersonal factors. The findings will assist helping professionals and educators alike in improving the health and functioning of college students."https://youtu.be/K5...
