2020 Celebration of Student Research and Creativity presentationChildhood team sports are widespread from pre-elementary years throughout childhood. These young student-athletes are exposed to many factors in that team environment that can influence their leadership development. This research demonstrates the importance of team sports in guiding youth to learn to work as a team at a young age and develop good morals and ethical values. This project explores existing research about team sports to identify the pros, cons, and offer guidelines for when children should start playing team sports. An exploration of impact on cognitive skills and child development in leadership skills is also explored.https://youtu.be/zY1SVt6VPU
