This research attemps to share an educational experience with families of initial education students, carried out with the objective of promoting educational inclusion in an educational unit in Santo Domingo (Ecuador). The lack of knowledge about inclusive education that exists in families justifies the promotion of spaces that allow reflection on educational inclusion. A quantitative methodology has been followed, using a quasi-experimental design and having a descriptive character. A questionnaire was applied twice to 25 families whose children were enrolled on the institution. An inclusive education awareness workshop was planned and delivered.
