EVALUACIÓN DEL NIVEL DE MADUREZ DEL RIESGO EN EMPRESAS DE TRANSPORTE DE COMBUSTIBLE

The maturity risk model of the fuel transport companies is growing and achieving major results. This leads to their level of risk falls in their operations and therefore they will have less accidents and mortality from this cause.  This strategy is aligned with international trends requested by organizations such as the World Health Organization. These models should be further encouraged by the authorities. The research evaluates the maturity risk level of companies which are transporting fuel because they will serve as reference of comparison in  industry of transportation, due to they are being one of the sectors which should have the highest standards in risk management and They are frequently exposed to these risks. The results of this study indicate which maturity risk levels are in excellent levels in the attributes such as Application and Culture, and competent in the attributes Process and Partner. This is a good indication that the fuel transport companies have high levels of risk maturity contributing significantly to reducing accidents and fatalities from road accidents.El nivel de madurez de riesgo de las compañías de transporte de combustible claro está en pleno crecimiento y alcanzando resultados muy buenos.  Esto conlleva a que su nivel de riesgo baje en las operaciones y por ende tengan menor accidentabilidad y mortalidad por esta causa, siendo una estrategia alineada con las tendencias internacionales solicitadas por organizaciones como la Organización Mundial de la Salud.  Este tipo de modelos deben ser mayormente incentivados por parte de las autoridades.  La investigación realizada tuvo por objetivo evaluar el nivel de madurez de la gestión de riesgo de las compañías de transporte de combustible como referencia de la industria del transporte al ser uno de los sectores que deben contar con los estándares más altos en gestión de riesgo y se encuentran frecuentemente expuestos.  Los resultados de dicho estudio indican que los niveles de madurez son excelentes en los atributos de Aplicación y Cultura; y competentes en los atributos Proceso y Socio.  Esto es buen indicativo de que las compañías de transporte de combustible tienen altos niveles de madurez del riesgo contribuyendo de manera significativa a la reducción de accidentes y fatalidades por accidentes viales
