Backgroud. Perforation is the most serious complication in patients with perforated peptic ulcer (PPU). The mortality rate due to PPU varies from 1.3% to 82.4%. Data and research on predictive factors of mortality in PPU patients and assessment of the accuracy of the Boey, ASA, and qSOFA scores as predictors of mortality show varying results and have not been widely carried out in Indonesia.
