Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Pemeriksaan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA) pada Wanita Usia Subur di Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya Kota Padang tahun 2019

Cervical cancer or cervix is the second most common cancer suffered by women in Indonesia. One of the government's efforts to detect cervical cancer early is through the acetic acid with visual inspection (VIA). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between attitudes, information exposure, husband's support, and medical personnel’s support with the VIA test proceeding at Lubuk Buaya Health Center, Padang City. This type of research is quantitative research with a Case-Control design. The population was divided into two; case population and control population. The sample size is 90 people who were taken by the Accidental sampling technique with a case: control ratio (1:1). The research instrument used a questionnaire. In this study, univariate and bivariate analysis was used with the chi-square test, and multivariate analysis was used.. The results of this study indicate that there was a significant relationship among attitudes (p=0.000, OR=7,000), information exposure (p=0.009; OR=3.532), husband's support (p=0.000; OR=5.781), and medical personnel’s support (p= 0.002; OR = 4.462) with the VIA test proceeding at Lubuk Buaya Health Center, Padang. There is a significant relationship among attitudes, information exposure, husband's support, and medical personnel’s support with the VIA test inspection at Lubuk Buaya Health Center, Padang City
