Questions of geopolitical, socioeconomic and cultural causation. Current methodology and empirical research of terrorism. Typology of terrorism includes historical analysis of racist, nationalist, anarchist and socialist organizations. Focus on controversies about state response regarding legal rights, proceedings, immigration and addressing political, social and cultural issues. Offered annually each fall semester
