The paper examines the fate of the collection of paintings that Count Ferdinand Maria III Attems kept in his castle in Slovenska Bistrica until 1945, and based on an analysis of various archival sources as well as a newly established concordance of the records, proposes identifications of certain paintings now held in Slovenian public institutions. Besides outlining the provenance of individual works from the Attems collection, the paper presents one of the most important elements of their history: the context of the post-war confiscation, transfers as well as the storage of works of art in the Federal Collection Centre, and their onward distribution to different Slovenian institutions.Članek obravnava usodo zbirke slik, ki jo je grof Ferd...
