The problem that underlies this article is based on the understanding that teaching in higher education requires training in the field of teaching, as it is not enough to master disciplinary knowledge. Our general objective is to investigate, according to the teaching narratives, how the teachers interviewed constitute their pedagogical knowledge. As a specific objective, we have: to understand what pedagogical knowledge is, its characteristics, as well as its importance for the development of teaching in Higher Education.
