Pesquisa histórica no Ensino Médio: possibilidades e potencialidades

This text presents a report of research activities carried out with 1st-grade high school students in the history course during the first two months of 2020 in a full-time school in Fortaleza. For a few weeks, students were encouraged to research their family history, seeking sources, interviewing relatives, and working with these materials. After that, students composed small texts synthesizing what they had discovered in their research and exposing how it was the experience of investigating their own stories. Through this active-teaching methodology, it was possible to discuss with students how the work of historians is carried out, as well as to reflect on the importance that each individual has in society, breaking up the idea that history is made only by those who have the political, economic or religious domain.Este texto apresenta um relato de atividades de pesquisa realizadas com estudantes da 1ª série do Ensino Médio, na disciplina de História, durante o primeiro bimestre de 2020, em uma escola em tempo integral de Fortaleza. Durante algumas semanas, os estudantes foram estimulados a pesquisar sobre a história de suas famílias, buscando fontes, entrevistando parentes e trabalhando com esses materiais. Após isso, os estudantes construíram pequenos textos sintetizando o que haviam descoberto em suas pesquisas e expondo como foi a experiência de investigar sobre suas próprias histórias. Ao utilizarmos esta metodologia ativa de ensino, foi possível discutir com os estudantes como é realizado o trabalho de historiadores, bem como refletir acerca da importância que cada indivíduo tem na sociedade, desconstruindo a ideia de que a História é feita apenas por aqueles que têm o domínio político, econômico ou religioso
