This research discusses the pedagogical practice and teacher education of early childhood teacher. The overall objective is to investigate the values and dispositions learned by teachers in non-formal training processes experienced in personal and professional trajectories which are manifested in the pedagogical practice of teachers who are teaching at the day care center. This investigation presents qualitative research. Research data were collected by semi-structured interviews. The studies were based on Pierre Bourdieu's concepts of habitus and field, Sacristán's analysis about the teaching practices and studies of Bujes (2002), Barbosa (2006) e Kuhlmann Jr. (1998) about early childhood education.
